The building was built in the 40s as a work station to work on locomotives for the paper mill. Lots of tragedy happened on the paper mill property. Today, the building is home to St. Marys Little Theatre and St. Marys Express acting as both a community theatre and a train station. It’s a spooky place after dark especially, but even in the daytime volunteers have reported strange noises and music coming from out of nowhere when no devices were on. Paranormal groups that have gone there throughout the years have captured photos in two different areas with a distinct outline of a man hanging—one was in our green room which was once a conference room for the railroad, and one was over the audience area that used to be the locomotive work station.
Strange sounds, shadow figures , random music playing and photos of apparitions make this historic location a must for the dares crew.
